Beach!

What a relaxing Sunday! After eating lunch at Fu Tai, Sophie and I took the bus (K51) to the Gold Coast. We took it all by ourselves and managed to get there (with some help from the bus driver)! We met Trace there along with her friend SingSing, his girlfriend, and his friend Andrew. Andrew said hi to us and I was so surprised when he spoke with an American accent. Turns out he was born and lives in Seattle and he was just in Hong Kong visiting his family. It was really nice to speak with an American again :-) Sophie, Andrew and I went swimming in the ocean. It felt like it was saltier than what I am used to because it seemed like we could float much easier. After swimming, Sophie and I ate some snacks and chatted with the others. It was a very fun day even though it wasn't packed full of events. Tomorrow is another day of classes. I am a little nervous for my Chinese class. I really hope I am the right level!
