Japan: Last Day :-(

Sunday was my last day in Japan. :-( Megan met me at my hostel and we took my bags back to her room since I had to check out at 11 am. Then we went to Harajuku to eat crepes, buy her a new watch, and do purikura again (I posted those purikura with the other ones from Day Two). The crepes were SO delicious. We really need crepe stands in the US. They were like giant soft ice cream cones.

Crowded Harajuku on a Sunday

That's deliciousness right there

Fancy watches
After enjoying deliciousness, we went to walk it off in the imperial gardens. They were free and sooo beautiful. It was so nice to be around green again and enjoy some fresh air.

When we were walking back to the subway station, we crossed through a marathon for vision. We saw a lot of young guys using ropes to help lead blind people run so they could participate as well. I've never seen that in the US. I'd like to think we have people do that too.
After going to the gardens, we rushed back to her hostel to grab my bags and go to the train station so I could catch the Skyliner. It was really sad to leave Megan. It was so nice to see her again. I can't wait till we're back at Washington College and doing everything together again. Thank you Megan for being an excellent tour guide and being cheap with me!!!
Overall I found Japan to be a very expensive (VERY expensive), organized (everyone walked on the left, stood on the escalator on the left, stood in lines), clean (lots of organized trash cans everywhere), fashionable (all the girls were very made up with fancy hairstyles and stylish clothing and the boys dressed really nice as well), high tech (just look at the toilets to understand what I mean - Megan's dorm toilet had a heated seat!), and polite (lots of bowing and great customer service) place.

Goodbye Japan!!
