Today I officially went to my last class of the semester. Though, it was my art class and we didn't really have class. We had an exhibition instead! Everyone put up their best drawing from the semester and then we also put up these huge group drawings. Our professor had given us each a square for us to draw and then we put the squares together like a puzzle to form a bigger picture. They turned out really well and it was really neat to compare the different styles of drawing.

| Understanding Drawing Class 2010 |
Yesterday I had my final exam in my Chinese class. I thought it went pretty well. I finished a good 20-30 mintues before the rest of my class. I know I probably made some silly mistakes and there were one or two answers that I guessed. Now that that exam is over and today I had my last art class, I am officially done with two classes. I only have 2 more open-note final exams to take next week and some editing to do on my final paper for my Hong Kong's Heritage class. We had to write about a heritage site in Hong Kong so I wrote about the Old Bacteriological Institute. I finished it last week and met with my professor about it at the beginning of this week. He told me just to elaborate more on smallpox vaccine production and to add a photograph or two. I am not sure how to add a photograph in without it looking really random, but since he told me to add one in, I guess he won't mind. Now I just need to force myself to work on it. Since I have so little work left, it's hard to motivate myself to actually work on it.
It's really warm in Hong Kong. I heard that its miserable cold and rainy back home. I guess that's one thing I am not excited for when I go home - how frinkin' cold it will be! But it would be nice to get some snow, especially on Christmas. I couldn't imagine having Christmas in a warm place. It's interesting how different people's perceptions of cold are. It's all comparative. I went out today and thought it was hot. I wore a dress with no sleeves, while local people were dressed in sweaters, scarves, and pants! My roommate was even wearing tights, a dress, and a fleece jacket. It's almost 80 degrees today. Compared to the 100 degree weather earlier in the semester, I guess 80 degrees is cooler. But, I still don't consider it sweater weather. Especially since back home right now it's in the high 30s. I think when I return it will feel even colder to me since I have gotten so used to the warm weather here.
