My last day in London was a very nice and relaxing one. I went and spent the majority of my afternoon at the British Museum. It was absolutely massive and incredibly crowded. I saw so many very famous things. I took a bunch of photos, but they are just a very small portion of what I saw. I was in there for a few hours and barely saw half the museum.

| Rosetta Stone!! |
| African Masks - brought back memories of Karen's dance history class... |
| Chair made of decommissioned weapons from the Mozambique civil war |
| African throwing knifes |
| Part of my favorite exhibit room. This is part of a project called "Cradle to Grave" by Pharmacopoeia. These are two lengths of fabric with over 14,000 drugs in each that illustrate the medical stories of one woman and one man. Kind of amazing how many pills we take throughout our lives |
| Aztec piece |
| Tarot cards that were part of an exhibit on divination |
| "Statue of Tara" - statue of a Buddhist goddess that combines the spiritual and the sensual |
| Shiva - Lord of Dance |
| Lindow Man - so cool (but kind of gross) to see it in real life after learning about it in archaeology class! |
| Sutton Hoo helmet - one of the most important Anglo-Saxon finds of all time |
| Head of the emperor Augustus that was originally part of a huge statue in Egypt |
After leaving the museum, I went to St. Paul's Cathedral with the intent of going to evensong. However, once I got there, it was so packed that I decided to leave. The cathedral was absolutely gorgeous. The photos I have really do not do it justice.

| Temple Bar - the only surviving gateway into London |
This evening, I bought the ingredients and Rachel cooked tacos for dinner, which we ate with two of her flatmates. Now we are lounging on the couch and watching "10 Things I Hate About You." Tomorrow I am getting up early to catch my flight home. I've had a great time here in England. Thank you to Rachel for welcoming me to her flat! It was so nice to see the life she has built for herself here. It's one thing to hear about it, but quite another to see a part of it in person. I really hope I have a chance to come back to the UK to travel to other parts. I would love to go to the Lake Country in Northern England, to Wales, to see the highlands in Scotland, to visit Bath and some of the seaside towns. I don't know when I will next revisit my blog. My next trip to Wyoming in August does not involve any access to the outside world. Hopefully, I will be in an exotic location the next time I update!
