In Denial

Two weeks from now I will be on the plane to Hong Kong. Despite the fact that I glued my Hong Kong student visa into my passport and picked up my Chinese visa from the visa office this morning, I still do not really believe that I am actually going. I've attempted to pack, but then I usually end up finding something better to do (play with my dog, read, eat, go down to the barn, swim, etc.)

I can't believe that I only have a week and a half left at my internship. I really enjoy working at the Museum and the people I am working with are so nice. I am going to miss them and working so close to home.

This weekend we are headed up to New York to see family that I haven't visited in who knows how long. While I am not that excited for the 6 to 8 hour car ride, I will have time to relax, canoe, and swim in the lake. With the end of my internship approaching fast as well as the process of packing and limiting the amount of things I bring, I feel like everything is so rushed.
My goal: Finish packing so my last weekend at home will be full of things I want to do, and not obligations.
